More Info: Llwynhudol is a small family-run vineyard in Pwllheli, on the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales overlooking Eryri (Snowdonia) Mountains and Cardigan Bay.
Llwynhudol translates as “Magical Grove” – a fitting name for this little corner of West Wales. The house was built around 1850 as a home for the retiring estate manager of the Broom Hall Estate, with the adjoining buildings originally serving as the coach house and, later, cow sheds. Today, those old stone buildings have been lovingly converted into cosy holiday cottages, so we can offer comfortable on-site accommodation.
One of the charms of Llwynhudol is its setting. We’re tucked into a sheltered hillside, which means we escape some of the coastal winds and enjoy a real sun trap. The vineyard sits on the south-eastern side of the land, gently sloping down towards the sea and harbour. It’s a small vineyard, initially planted as an experiment, but it’s thriving – and we’re hoping to expand it in the coming years.
