More Info: Records date the Villa Sant'Angelo estate back to the 15th century at least, and was owned by a noble family until the last family member died without leaving an heir. The estate ended up in a state of repair and it wasn't until 2006, when Darren Jenkins, a Welshman from Newport and his family purchased the property that the estate was renovated and the vineyards once again cultivated to produce wines.
They co-own the organic estate and produce incredible wines using the region's most famous grape varieties including Montepulciano and Trebbiano.
