More Info: Domaine Lingot Martin is based in the often overlooked Bugey-Cerdon region in Eastern France. The vineyards are planted exclusively on hillsides and are split between the alpine region of Cerdon and Bugey, just south of Jura and west of Savoie.
They produce AOC wines from both regions as well as blends that are labelled Vin de France such as this one.
The domaine has been awarded a HEV (High Environmental Value) certification for its commitment to following environmentally friendly processes.
Their trademark is their "methode ancestrale" wine, which is a process that involves stopping the fermentation process before it is complete, bottling and then allowing the fermentation to continue naturally in bottle. After the fermentation is complete, the wine is carefully removed and filtered before being placed back in bottle.
