More Info: The old estate in San Polo di Piave is the oldest documented winery in Italy, going back to 1427. The Giol family took over in 1919 and have since built a certified organic, ethical and environmentally friendly winery that produces award-winning sparkling and still wines made exclusively from grapes grown on their estates. All 25 hectares of vineyards have been farmed using organic methods since 1986.
