More Info: Pen Y Clawdd, meaning “head of the bank” in Welsh, is the location of the Dell's oldest vineyard. Planted 22 years ago, these mature vines yield exceptional fruit, brimming with freshness and character.
Their debut traditional method sparkling wine is a blend of Pinot Noir and Seyval Blanc. Delicately whole-bunch pressed, the cuvée (first press) uses only the best juice. Secondary fermentation takes places in bottle, followed by 18 months lees ageing.
Limited edition: only 400 bottles were produced.
The Dell Vineyard is a small, family-run vineyard based in the heart of Monmouthshire. The 2022 vintage was made using aromatic white varietals from the 20 year old vineyard and displays the same label as their low intervention 2021 white.
Named after the Welsh goddess of the sun, legend says that wherever she walked, white flowers would bloom in her wake. A symbol of purity and beauty.
Crafted from the Dell's first harvest of Solaris grapes, fermented and aged in oak barrels.
