More Info: The Abbey at Grande-Sauve is set on a small hill overlooking the vineyards where La Pelegrine is created. Named after the pilgrims that set out on their pilgrimage route from there to Santiago de Compostella, this wine tells a story of discoveries and pushing boundaries.
Grapes are harvested in the early hours of the morning before undergoing a short period of skin contact. The wine is partially fermented in French oak and aged on the lees with regualr stirring until the end of November.
