Tasting Notes: Sancerre-like in style with the minerality of a Chablis, this is a cracking Sauvignon from the eastern Loire. Fresh and fruity on the nose with subtle sweet green herbs and luscious tropical fruits. The soil contains a high content of marine and shell fossils from the Jurassic period resulting in a wine with impressive minerality.

Vegan. Organic. Biodynamic. Low Sulphur.
Pairing: Absolutely perfect with Crottin de Chavignol but equally delicious with all goat's cheese. Try with seafood tacos, crab cakes and dishes with lots of green elements such as lime and coriander.
More Info: Located in the heart of Reuilly in the eastern Loire, Denis Jamain runs the 18 hectares of vineyards on the Domaine de Reuilly estate. Grown organically and biodynamically, the vines face south-west and grow on a clay and limestone soil that contains sea fossils and shells from more than 150 million years ago. This is where the inspiration for the label came from. The wines are fermented naturally with very light filtering using only the smallest amount of sulphur.
