Tasting Notes: Peach and flint on the nose with sharp citrus, classic gooseberry, apricot and lime on the palate and a mouth-watering finish. A brilliant, dry Kiwi Sav.
Region: Awatare Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand
Varieties: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Pairing: Great with shellfish, aromatic curries and generally with dishes that contain herby green flavours such as basil, coriander and mint.
More Info: Grown in the slightly cooler region of Awatere at an altitude of 280 meters, the grapes are machine harvested before undergoing cool tank fermentation for three weeks. The wine is then left to relax for three weeks before a light racking.
